Students in the Construction Technology pathway are developing hands-on skills by building sawhorses that will be used in future construction projects. Through this project, students practiced essential technical skills, including measuring, cutting, sawing, and hammering, while emphasizing accuracy, safety, and craftsmanship. Students also strengthened important Power Skills for Success, including problem-solving, communication, teamwork, attention to detail, and perseverance. This authentic, project-based learning experience allows students to apply classroom knowledge to practical tasks while building a strong foundation for future careers in the construction industry.
