Students in grades 9-12 participated in a Health Professions STEM Summer Camp sponsored by SUNY Poly and taught by Cassandra Carpenter, where they explored a variety of careers in the healthcare field through hands-on learning experiences. Throughout the camp, students heard from healthcare professionals, created a red blood cell demonstration, practiced proper hand-washing techniques and developed foundational medical skills while gaining a deeper understanding of the many opportunities available in the health professions.
