Jefferson Student of the Month: Celebrating Positive Behavior

Each month, Jefferson Elementary celebrates its Students of the Month as part of the Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program. Teachers and classmates have the opportunity to nominate and select students who consistently demonstrate positive behavior and serve as role models for others.

The Student of the Month program recognizes students who demonstrate the core PBIS expectations:

Respect – Treating others, school property and oneself with kindness and consideration.

Responsibility – Making good choices, following school expectations and being accountable for one's actions.

Safety – Making choices that help keep oneself and others safe.

Through this recognition, Jefferson celebrates students who contribute to a positive, respectful and supportive school community.
